  • Vendors cancelling orders placed by shoppers.
  • Subscriptions or services offered directly by Surplus-Gy.

1.2 Responsibilities

  • Shoppers and vendors are encouraged to communicate promptly to resolve any issues leading to cancellation.
  • All cancellations must adhere to the guidelines outlined in this policy.

 

2. Order Cancellations by Shoppers

2.1 Timeframe for Cancellation

  • Shoppers may cancel orders before the vendor confirms the order for fulfilment.
  • Once an order is confirmed and dispatched, cancellations are subject to the vendor’s return and refund policies.

2.2 How to Cancel

  • Shoppers can cancel orders directly through their account dashboard or by contacting the vendor via the messaging system.

2.3 Refunds

  • Eligible refunds for cancellations will be processed as per the vendor’s refund policy and may include deductions for shipping or restocking fees.

 

3. Order Cancellations by Vendors

3.1 Vendor Rights

  • Vendors may cancel orders due to unavailability of stock, incorrect pricing, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3.2 Notification

  • Vendors must notify shoppers promptly with a reason for the cancellation and, where applicable, provide alternative solutions.

3.3 Refunds

  • Full refunds must be issued to shoppers for orders cancelled by vendors.

 

4. Subscriptions and Services Cancellation

4.1 Vendor Subscriptions

  • Vendors may cancel their subscription to Surplus-Gy services by providing 30 days’ notice through their account settings.
  • Any applicable fees for early termination will be outlined in the vendor agreement.

4.2 Shopper Subscriptions

  • Shoppers subscribed to premium services may cancel at any time via their account dashboard. Refunds for unused portions of the subscription are subject to Surplus-Gy’s discretion.

 

5. Non-Compliance with Policy

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in penalties, including but not limited to:

  • Suspension or termination of accounts.
  • Withholding of payouts for vendors.

 

6. Dispute Resolution

If a cancellation leads to a dispute between shoppers and vendors:

  • Both parties must first attempt to resolve the issue amicably through the platform’s communication tools.
  • If unresolved, Surplus-Gy’s dispute resolution team will mediate, and their decision will be final and binding.

 

7. Changes to This Policy

Surplus-Gy reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Updates will be communicated via the platform and will take effect immediately upon posting.
