Returns and Refund Policy

RETURNS
our returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. In some cases this may be a tangible receipt or email confirmation of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the vendor it was bought from, kindly return to the nearest Surplus-GY warehouse/distribution hub or you can request a delivery unit at the same cost of delivery to you.

Perishable goods, for example, food and drinks, cannot be returned for a refund nor exchanged

REFUNDS
Request for your refund must be sent via email within 14 days from your purchase. Email to be sent to surplusgy@gmail.com we will then notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days depending on your bank.

EXCHANGES
we only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at surplusgy@gmail.com and send your item to: Lot 45 Evans Street; Charlestown, Georgetown.

 

SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail or drop off your product to: Lot 45 Evans Street; Charlestown, Georgetown.  

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

 

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Merchandise damaged by misuse, accidents, fire, flood or other natural disasters are as such not covered by warranty. Merchandise that failed as a result of being used on voltages or circuits for which it was not designed, or fluctuating voltages, may not be returned. Merchandise, which are missing accessories – cords, plugs, remotes etc. Other examples of non-returnable are as follows: Delivery, Installation or labour charges.

 

WARRANTY POLICY
Electrical items that fail more than 14 days after purchase and within the manufacturers stipulated warranty period, will be repaired, exchanged or refunded by Surplus-GY at its sole discretion. The original Surplus-GY receipt must be presented at time of return. Altered merchandise or merchandise damaged by misuse, accidents, fire, flood or natural disasters is not covered by warranty. Merchandise that failed as a result of being used on voltages or circuits for which it was not designed, or fluctuating voltages, is not covered by warranty.

The Surplus-GY Policy does not apply to any product, or part thereof, which has been damaged through: fire, flood, wind, water, electrical voltage fluctuation, improper installation, misuse, alteration, attempts at repair, neglect, accident, or which has experienced removal/defacement of factory seals or serial numbers.
